This 41 mm Submariner Date pairs a black dial with a green Cerachrom bezel, a combination collectors nicknamed the "Starbucks." Large circular and triangular hour markers, filled with luminescence, keep the dial legible in the dark. The date sits at 3 o'clock under a Cyclops lens.
The green Cerachrom bezel is made of scratch-resistant ceramic that won't fade in sunlight, and it rotates in one direction only, so a diver can time a dive without risk of underestimating elapsed time. The Oystersteel case has a Triplock screw-down crown and is water resistant to 300 metres (1,000 feet). The Oyster bracelet has a Glidelock extension system for tool-free adjustment.
The watch is powered by Rolx's self-winding Calibre 3235, with about 70 hours of power reserve, and is certified as a Superlative Chronometer.
